Arma 3 ‘Paper Doll’ Gear Selector

I’ve released the ‘Paper Doll’ gear selector in mission format. You can download and read more about it here. This is the same menu, with some improvements, that was featured in my gear video.

    First of all – Thank You!

    Question though:

    Where do I copy the [“H_MilCap_mcamo”,”V_HarnessO_­brn”,”U_B_CombatUniform_mcam_t­shirt”,””,”srifle_EBR_Hamr_poi­nt_grip_F”,”optic_Hamr”,”acc_p­ointer_IR”,”hgun_Rook40_snds_F­”,”AfricanHead_02″,”G_Tactical­_Clear”,”launch_RPG32_F”]
    When i spawn a guy and then copy it into the initilization box it just says “; missing” or “type array expected nothing”

    How do I port this to a guy on a mission i’ve made? or Do I need to start every mission by loading thisup first and building a mission around it?

    1. That array is just giving classnames. You have to assign the gear through other scripting commands.

    Thanks for releasing this mate very much apreciated. On another note love the videos very much. Just wish i lived a bit closer (and didn’t work such mad hours) so i could join. Also bought the TrackIR 5 on the strength of your vid. Hope you get some discount from them 🙂 u deserve it.

    Yeah was kind of expecting something like this from bi in the editor but I guess there is still lots of time 🙂

    when i open op the mode, i don’t see arrows or boxes to change the different kind object. so i can see the boxes: head, body, weapon, and such but not arrows so i can change the weapon or gear. i do however see the weather and time arrows.
    what am i doing wrong?

    my only question is after assigning the weapons (got that mk18 mod…its good) how do you assign magazines to player and npcs?

    Too bad a 3d model wasn’t in the game so you can see and choose like this in game. That would be very useful!!

    Also useful would be 3D models of the weapons and stuff you choose from. They have little icons, but its so hard to see. Having it spinning and large like this and be able to choose your attachments, etc would have been a big help in Arma.

    Hopefully we see it later on like this in game!

    Hey dslyecxi, Awesome Addon, thank you for sharing it.
    Got a question if you can assist me with answers,
    I got this mission I made myself, and in this mission I have description and all the other scripts from spawning vehicles and Incorporated other Addons such as VAS and MCC.

    How would I incorporate your mission into my scripts?
