Arma 3 ‘Paper Doll’ Gear Selector

I’ve released the ‘Paper Doll’ gear selector in mission format. You can download and read more about it here. This is the same menu, with some improvements, that was featured in my gear video.

ShackTac Fireteam HUD for Arma 3

The ShackTac Fireteam HUD has been ported over to Arma 3, whee! This mod requires the CBA modset, which can be read about here (it is automatically installed when loading STHUD via PwS).

Watch the video for an example of how this mod functions.

You can read about the STHUD’s Arma2 version, which is functionally the same, here.

STHUD is part of the STUI compilation – download information can be found here.

If you run into issues with it, please post them to our tracker, here.

Arma 3 Community Guide Series Begins

I’ve had the opportunity to do several ‘community guide’ videos officially for Arma 3, yay! The first one just premiered today – you can view it here, on the official A3 Youtube channel. It’s great to finally be able to put into words & video what it is that makes the Arma series stand out from the pack. 🙂

Arma3 – It Begins

I have now posted the first of three Arma3 videos I will be releasing today. The next will come at 6pm central standard time, the final one an hour or two later.

Enjoy. 🙂

An Arma3 video surprise on Monday

I’ll be releasing the first of my Arma3 videos on my Youtube channel this Monday, March 4th, at 6pm central standard time. It’s been long in the making, and if you’re planning to play the Arma3 alpha, you won’t want to miss it! It’s the first video of a new era – that of A3 – and I’m quite proud of it. I hope you enjoy it once it’s out.

In the meantime, here are a few snazzy screens from Arma3 to whet the appetite. Enjoy!

ShackTac turns seven

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the founding of Shack Tactical, my pride and joy. Thanks to everyone over the years who has helped to make us what we are today, as well as everyone who motivates us to keep on keepin’ on. 😀

You can find an image gallery of scenes from throughout the year here. Now’s also a good time to take a look at my 2012 in Review tribute video, below.

In other site news, I’ve added my TrackIR settings and profile to the TrackIR page for those who have asked for them.
