Out of all the things you could have done to show off the new features of this wondrous game, I’m happiest that you did this one.

Well, I know that is an alpha, but here are two ideas to improve the game:

-Only one animation when walking while weapon is down, it will look better adding one more animation to make the patrols look less robotic.

-Optics. I know that Render To Texture is impossible due to the lag, etc… But it will be cool to see the optics instead of that “black screen with a circle in the middle James Bond Style”. I don’t know, something else will be better than that I guess.

Well, I hope this 2 ideas will help for the development.

    Wonderful video!

    Nice videos. Just two questions:

    1) Is this running on the same rig you’ve used to play ArmA 2?

    2) How would you gauge performance of your rig playing ArmA 3 vs ArmA 2?

HI ! If you`re thinking of getting new rudder peddals, here is some advise: Get the Saitec version, they work flawlessly with FS
simulator! I had a mere H****L to make the hellis to stay in one place…With the Saitec it works perfect!!

A word of warning :Don`t do what I did:loose the Sofvere disc or you can`t set them up properly again!
Haven`t tried the new version of the Peddals but I would belive they will work perfectly too!

GO WITH THE SAITEC ONES ! bEST VALUE FOR YOU`RE MONEY!

Fantastic video! Keep it up. Some more combat and Boats, weapon testing ,please!

Love the reviews, but can I ask where you got those pedals from and who makes them as I can’t find them in England – looks like they are trouble free and work well – so I’d want to try and buy the same ones. Would be great if you can help many thanks

They are from a company called CH Products. I personally have the older Saitek pro flight pedals, as you can adjust them for your foot size and you can also adjust the friction. It goes down to personal preference. You should be able to find either Saitek or CH on amazon, or if not, in good simulator product stores. Simware, Simmarket, and Aerosoft are pretty good, although not based in the UK. Good luck!

Aww the pedal animation on choppers wasn’t implemented yet. It would be something to add in ArmA3. Maybe BIS decide to implemente them.

    Nice vídeos! Thank you Dslyecxi.

I really do like the ideas about the movement binds.

One bind that I don’t think that you mentioned and would like to know how you personally set it up. What button do you have free look set to?

What works naturally for your free look button in your current Arma III control paradigm?

    1. I use TrackIR, so I don’t have the freelook key bound as I don’t use it.
